Sue Moseley - Chair
Sue has over 30 years experience in the field of marketing and television research, giving her a deep understanding of how viewers respond to sport and the role it plays in the marketing mix.
Sue has been instrumental in developing a number of leading-edge planning tools which break new ground in evaluating the impact of the full communication mix. Many of these are used by Futures Sport + Entertainment.
Sue is also the Worldwide Head of Research and Futures for Initiative and the Interpublic media group Mediabrands.
Prior to Initiative, Sue was Marketing and Research Manager for Central TV where she launched AdLab - the UK’s first full scale single-source research panel, measuring both multi-media consumption and product purchasing. Sue was a founder member of the UK’s first TV sales house, TSMS, where she was board director responsible for strategy and planning. Whilst at TSMS Sue acted as advisor to the board of United News & Media on their acquisition policies and provided consultancy on the future of TV and the impact of new technology. She has also run her own consultancy, working with a number of clients, including Spectrum Strategy Consultants.
Kevin Alavy - Managing Director
With a First Class Honours degree in Economics from Warwick University, Kevin has specialised in the media business of sport for his entire career. He applies his mathematical skills in finding new ways to quantify the value of sport.
Kevin has overall responsibility for the research produced by Futures Sport + Entertainment. His passion is researching how events on the sports field influence fans' attitudes and behaviour, and vice versa. With a huge appetite for numbers, he believes that the industry is at the beginning of a long journey in understanding how data can explain the world of sport.
Kevin is widely quoted in the business and sport press, including titles such as the Financial Times, International Herald Tribune and the New York Times. He also appears frequently on TV and radio, commenting on the business of sport.
Kevin has also been a Visiting Lecturer on the MBA programme at Imperial College, London.
Nick Copley - Director EMEA
Nick heads Futures Sport + Entertainment in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Nick has recently joined Futures and brings with him a track record in delivering results for clients that spans business analytics, strategy development, corporate finance and valuation.
Nick manages client relationships across EMEA and will focus on the continued delivery of high-quality sponsorship, media and consumer analysis, combining his passion for sport with experience in working on a wide range of business problems across a variety of sectors.
Nick has a degree in Geography from Cambridge University and a Master's degree in Corporate Finance from London Business School.
Alison Gaskell - Head of Australia
A pivotal player in establishing Futures as one of the leading global sports research agencies, Alison was promoted to run Futures' Australian office, based in Sydney.
Alison oversees all client relationships in Australia. She also guarantees consistency in the delivery of high-quality sponsorship, media and consumer research, drawing upon her broad experience of working with some of the world's biggest sports federations, teams and sponsors.
Alison has a First Class degree in Economics from Warwick University and a Master's degree in Mathematical Economics and Econometrics from the London School of Economics.
